[Senco-forum] Action plus SEN register

Hi there
 
We have some county guidance about what makes SA+ ? which is particularly useful for low incidence needs.  Might be worth asking in your neck of the woods. 
 
My issue has always been that what is 'additional to or different from'  will be different in every school because we all have different facilities, opportunities, staffing etc. At one time in my school I had NHS physiotherapists on site one day a week so that was part of our standard 'offer' but for almost every other school that would have been an additional !!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do other SENCOs decide who is Action plus on their SEN register?  Am a secondary school senco and OFSTED recently questioned who we had on our register as plus.
