[Senco-forum] Role of ta in the primary school

Dear All,

All my TAs are funded through my SEN and AEN budget- do any of the primary sencos out there set out how much time each TA should spend on SEN, how much is general class support and how much should be for the preparation of resources for class. Or do other SENCOs leave it to the class teacher to ensure that the number of hours support set on an IEP is met?
